Construction work

Scope it. Price it. Build it. Sign it off.

Contractors post work with a real scope. Trades read it, price it and bid. After the award the job keeps going here: variations, documents and payment records all sit against the same job. Money moves between the two of you; what lives here is the evidence it moved, confirmed by the trade who was paid.

No account needed to read the work. Only to bid on it.

  • Licences checked where a register answers, and named where none does.
  • The scope is written down before anybody quotes it.
  • Bids compared side by side, on the same page as the job.

How long bids stay open

Two sides, one scope, no phone tag.

01 · Contractors

Post the job once

With the drawings and the site access notes. Matched trades in your area are notified within the minute.

02 · Trades

Price a real scope

Work in your trade and your area, written down before you quote. Add your licence once and, where the register can be asked, we ask it for you.

03 · After the award

Run the job to the end

Compare bids, award, then keep variations and documents on the same job. Upload the evidence of each payment and the trade confirms it, so both sides hold the same record.

What we check, and what we do not

We would rather say
“we cannot check that”.

Licence registers can only be asked in some states. Where one answers, we show what it said and on what date. Where there is no register we can reach, we say so rather than implying a check that never happened.

  • Licence number against the state register, where that register can be queried.
  • Business number against the national register, for name, status and tax registration.
  • Insurance certificate dates, so you can see what was uploaded and when it expires.
  • Insurance is not checked by anyone. No register of policies exists, so the certificate is shown to you in full and you decide whether it covers the work.
  • Workmanship. We do not rate it, and nobody who has not hired them should.
  • Identity. A checked licence is not proof that the person holding the account owns it.
